| With a major in Psychology from UCLA and experience at multiple childrenswear companies owner and designer Angelyn de la Garza decided to go back to school to learn garment construction and pattern making to then launch Kumquat in 2001. Five years later Kumquat now features Angelyn's own original, vintage-inspired prints on ultra soft cotton fabrics.
