Waves and Wild Free Range Over Trousers Sewing Pattern

The Waves and Wild Free Range Fun Over-Trousers are the perfect thing to protect your little ones when playing outside, whatever the weather! You can choose between trousers or dungarees/salopettes. They can be lined or unlined. They can have straight legs, snap legs or elasticated legs (with optional stirrups.)

This is a beginner level pattern.
This pattern is available in sizes 6mos to age 12.
Print at home version is included in this pattern.

Suggested fabrics are any light/medium weight, hardwearing fabric. If you would like your over-trousers to be water resistant then choose a water resistant fabric. Good choices include PUL, soft-shell and ripstop. No stretch is required but fabric with a little stretch can be used. Lining Fabric: light/medium weight, warm fabric such as micro-fleece.

Size: 6m to 12m - 3/4 yard
Size: 1 to 4 - 1 yard
Size: 5 to 6 - 1 1/4 yard
Size: 7 to 8 - 1 1/2 yard
Size: 9 to 11 - 1 3/4 yard
Size: 12 - 2 1/2 yard

Trousers
Size: 6m to 2 - 3/4 yard
Size: 3 to 6 - 1 yard
Size: 7 to 9 - 1 1/4 yard
Size: 10 to 11 - 1 1/2 yard
Size: 12 - 2 1/4 yard

NOTE: yardage is for the unlined options. For the lined options you need the above amounts in both outer and inner fabrics.
