When the seasons start to turn warm in the Tasmanian bush, a beautiful herbaceous scent wafts about carrying with it the buzzing of bees. Ah, the kunzea is in flower! Summer really is coming. And so is skirt weather.
Our elastic waistband skirt, complete with pockets, can be cut and sewed super-fast. There is no separate waistband piece to sew to reduce bulk at the waist: just roll down and stitch. It’s a perfect project for beginners to build their skills.
Flattering, comfortable, easy and quick. Suited to a wide range of fabrics, you’ll be coming back to this sewing pattern time and again.
This is a beginner level pattern.
This pattern is sized to fit hips measuring 87cm (34in) to 118.5cm (47in).
Suggested fabrics are cotton lycra, vegan leather, cotton jersey, french terry, ponte de roma, or cotton wovens.
