We try to accurately list our fabrics content, the correct color and print scale, and the guaranteed cuttable width. Cuttable width is the width of the fabric outside the selvedge areas which can contain imperfections as a result of the printing process. Please note that not all the fabric we sell has the fabric content or weight information available so content displayed may not always be accurate. The base fabric and goods sold at Girl Charlee are not manufactured by Girl Charlee and are used by consumers for a wide variety of final applications. If you are producing children's items that require any specific testing you must have your item third party tested as Girl Charlee is not a children's fabric manufacturer and only prints on pre-made fabrics for the Girl Charlee Collection fabric line or purchases fully finished goods from third party suppliers.
We sell in one yard increments, except for fabrics available in our Half Yard category, and in our bargain lots. All fabric cuts are as generous as possible, but if the fabric is down to the last available yardage we may not be able to include any additional allowance. All fabrics are cut to order after purchase unless otherwise indicated in the item description. We are not able to accommodate custom cut requests. We send multiple yardage in continuous cuts when possible, but we cannot guarantee continuous yardage in amounts over 15 yards. Sometimes we find the last yardage of fabrics may be in pieces, or the fabric may not be available in the full amount purchased, and if that is the case we will contact you prior to shipping your order if it was not already indicated on the website during the time of purchase.
Please note that for fabrics purchased in increments 15 yards and over we will send at least that amount in continuous yardage, but we cannot guarantee the entire volume will be continuous as the fabric does not always arrive to us in a contiuous piece. The order will be shipped with at least one full 15 yard cut, regardless of the length of the other cut(s). If we cannot provide the one full 15 yard cut, customer service will notify you prior to shipment. Please contact us with any questions.
Fabric Reseale and Third Party Use:
If you are reselling Girl Charlee fabrics, or are selling goods made from Girl Charlee fabrics, we are unable to facilitate any refunds for any claims made by your purchaser. Girl Charlee is not responsible for how fabrics or finished goods are treated or laundered by any third party. No returns or refunds can be made on any fabrics that have been purchased from a third party supplier. Please contact us with any questions.
Digital Sewing Patterns:
Once you purchase a digital sewing pattern for download you will see a link on the 'Checkout Success' page once your payment is completed. You can also download your patterns from the availble links within your order in the Account link at the top of the website. Patterns are available for three (3) downloads only and for one year from the date of purchase. Please adhere to the pattern designers rules of use and distribution. Adding to Orders:
We are able in most cases to add additional items to orders that have been placed and are in processing. Please place an additional order and add a comment in the available section during checkout to please combine with your previous order (include the order number) and we will combine the orders and refund any shipping overage in the form of a store credit if we are able to do so.
If you wish to cancel an order please contact us using our contact form. We are only able to cancel orders that have not been cut or processed and we will advise you at the time you contact us if it is possible to do so or not. If we are able to cancel the order for you we will process your refund within 5 business days back to your original method of payment. As all fabrics are custom cut to order if you request the cancelation after being notified your order is in process and cut there is a 20% restocking fee assessed and deducted from the order total.
Presale Fabric Orders:
We presale fabrics that are on backorder or new to the website from the Girl Charlee Collections. When you purchase a fabric that is on presale all other non-presale fabrics contained in the presale order will be held and shipped together when the presale fabrics become avaialable. The date expected in the item description is not the shipping date for the fabrics but the anticipated date of delivery of the fabrics to us which may change. Once the fabrics arrive with us there is an additional 1-2 days for cutting and packing before hold orders will ship. If you need presale fabrics by an exact date we cannot guarantee delivery due to possible delays in delivery of the fabric to us. We are not able to partially ship any presale orders that are on hold. We recommend placing separate orders for presale items and in stock items to ensure there is no delay in receiving your instock fabrics. If you do cancel any presale items from your order you will be issued a store credit only for the amount of the presale item.
If you wish to have a specific fabric swatch sent to you we are able to send up to 4 samples free of charge for customers located in the domestic USA. Please use our contact form, Design Wall, or Stash for your request. If using the contact form please include the fabrics name or model number along with your name and address to ship to. Please note we cannot sample any fabric that is showing 15 yards or less in stock. Due to the high volume of swatch requests that we receive, after one swatch request has been received and processed we require an order be received before an additional swatch request will be accepted.
We do our very best to maintain accurate inventory levels, but in the event that an order is placed for an item that is not in stock or we find we are unable to fill the full amount you will be notified as soon as possible. We can offer a refund or a substitution of a different item of your choice of equal or lesser value. If the substituted item is of greater value we will notify you of any additional amount of payment that is required. If the item is on sale at the time of purchase we will process an immediate refund to your method of payment only, no substitutions are allowed.
Bargain Lots and Bargain Fabrics:
Bargain lots and bargain fabrics are as described on the website and no refunds or exchanges are accepted. Bargain lots and bargain fabrics are first come, first servce and if not available in stock at the time of purchase you will be notified via email and a refund will be processed back to your method of payment, no substitutions are allowed.
Methods of Payment:
We accept PayPal and Visa, Mastercard, American Express, or DiscoverCard credit cards, as well as most types of debit and gift cards bearing the MasterCard, Visa, American Express, or Discover Card logo. All payments are processed by a PCI Compliant merchant processor and are 100% secure. All transactions are processed in U.S. dollars.
New customer accounts will receive a discount code upon account signup and only one first customer discount is allowed per customer. Discount codes are entered on the shopping bag page prior to checkout. Enter the code in the field provided, click Apply, and the discount will be reflected in your order sub-total. Only one code may be applied per order and cannot be applied to Girl Charlee gift card purchases, sewing patterns, bargain lots, bargain fabrics, sale fabrics, or wholesale orders and discount is excluded of any applicable sales tax and shipping costs. Discount codes must be entered at the time of purchase and we cannot apply any discount after the order has been placed.
Customer Referral Rewards:
Customer referral rewards are only rewarded for a new customer purchase and only the first time they purchase by applying a provided referral code in the new account sign up page where indiciated. Customer referral codes MUST be entered at the time the new account is created and we are unable to credit a customer referral code after the order is placed. This is due to system limitations and no exceptions can be made.
Girl Charlee gift cards are available in different amounts for purchase here. If you are using a gift card the code is entered on the payment page during checkout in the area provided. Gift cards can be used for any type of product purchase except gift cards. Any unused value will remain on the card for subsequent purchases and cannot be redeemed for cash.
