|Carriers and Services:
We process and ship orders Monday through Friday, except on major holidays when we are closed. We cut and ship to order so please allow one to two business days after your order is placed for it to be shipped. If there is a higher volume of orders due to the weekend or a sale, orders may take additional time to process. If you require your order by a certain date please contact customer service and they can advise you on any shipping delays due to high volume, inclimate weather, or known carrier shipping delays. Please note that order processing time is the time it takes your order to be processed and shipped and does not include shipping transit times which vary by service selected. All orders include package tracking and/or delivery notification. Delivery methods and rates offered are based on origination and destination entered during the checkout process and the service that is selected. We offer international shipping to most worldwide destinations and have negotiated low shipping rates through FedEx, as well as USPS depending on the size of your order and destination, that are available during checkout.
Packaging and Transit:
We package shipments in secure heavy duty poly mailer or secured double wall boxes for larger orders. For any order with a fabric quantity of over 30 yards we will ship the fabric on the roll. If your order tracking is showing delivered and you have not received the package please contact your local police department to file a report and contact the shipping carrier to file a claim. Girl Charlee is not responsible for lost or stolen packages that have been confirmed as delivered by shipping carrier.
If your order has been lost during shipment please contact us immediately. Please note that the claims process for a lost shipment may take up to 10 business days to complete and we cannot resend or refund the order until we have confirmation from the carrier that they are not able to locate and deliver the shipment. If your package suffers any damages due to carrier misrouting or mishandling please contact the shipping carrier directly.
Shipping Options and Transit Time:
We ship within 1-2 business days from when you order is placed. If you select an expedited shipping option please note that the transit time and delivery is based on when the package has been collected and is enroute from Girl Charlee and does not include the order processing time. Girl Charlee is not responsible for delays in order delivery due to inclement weather or any other service interruptions of selected shipping carrier and you must contact the carrier directly with any tracking questions. Shipment Notification and Tracking:
You will be notified via email when you order is shipped and the carrier and tracking number is provided in your order shipment confirmation. You can track your shipments by logging into your account and clicking the tracking link located in your order information.
Additional Shipping Charges:
If you supply an incorrect shipping address that results in an address correction, or request an intercept to change the shipping address once shipped, a $16.00 charge will be billed to your method of payment used when you placed the order.
We are not allowed by law to mark your package customs slip as a "gift" and must display the actual merchandise amount. For USPS First Class Mail International service tracking is available only for select destinations and carries no insurance or a guaranteed time in transit. If selecting a USPS shipping service please note that Girl Charlee is not responsible for replacement of lost, undelivered, or custom held shipments.
If you need us to delay sending an order to you we are happy to hold your order for you. Please include instructions in the comments section at the time of placing the order telling us you wish us to hold it and then instruct us via email when when you wish it to ship. Hold requests must be placed in the comments section at the time the order is placed. If you call or email a request to hold your order after the order has been placed we cannot guarantee we can hold the order before it is processed and shipped.
Presale fabric orders are placed on hold until all fabric becomes available in stock and shipped together complete. We are not able to partially ship presale fabric orders. We recommend placing separate orders for presale items and items available in stock to ensure there is no delay in receiving your available fabrics. If you would like to combine shipping on multiple orders, please place a note in the comments section of your order or please contact us and we will be happy to assist you with your request. Please note that combining orders may cause a delay in the shipment of one or all of your orders. We are not able to partially ship or split combined orders with presale fabric. Any shipping overage will be refunded to you in the form of store credit only.
In an effort to keep shipping rates as low as possible we package as efficiently as we can by utilizing tape secured heavy duty poly mailer bags for smaller orders, and tape secured boxes for larger orders.
