Winter Wear Designs Women's Aviator Pants Sewing Pattern

The Women's Aviator Pants are knit pants that are perfect for all year round. These do not have a button or zipper so they are super comfy and easy to take on and off. While they do have a knit waist yoga style waistband, they also include an option for drawstring with elastic, or just elastic to make sure those pants stay up and in place. Need something for warmer weather? Make the Aviator Capris, of course!
This pattern is available in sizes XXS through 3XL and is recommended for advanced beginners.

Suggested fabrics are medium to heavy weight knits such as stretch denim, sweatshirt, ponte de roma, french terry or cotton lycra.

Fabric Yardage Guide
Solid Pants:
Size XXS to S - 1 1/2 yard
Size M to 3XL - 2 yard
1/2 yard rib knit for waist and cuffs (1/4 yard for sizes XXS to S)
1/4 for pockets (if contrasting)
Triangle Pants:
Size XXS to S - 1 yard
Size M to 3XL - 1 1/2 yard
1/2 yard for contrast triangle
1/2 yard rib knit for waist and cuffs (1/4 yard for sizes XXS to S)
