Style and comfort come together in this long sleeved women's knit top! The cut is made to flatter a woman's body, with fitted sleeves, gentle shaping through the torso, and a wider neckband. Depending on your fabric choice it can become anything from a sleep shirt to a sequined going-out top. Use contrasting fabric for the sleeves, cuffs, or optional chest pocket. Add a lace overlay to the bodice. Use a woven fabric or even leather for the pocket. Make the shirt out of nylon lycra and it becomes a rash guard. The choice is yours! This versatile yet simple top is a very easy sew, perfect for your first foray into knit garments. Because the sleeve and waistband have cuffs, there is no hemming to worry about. The neckband is sewn on using a unique technique that was created to give everyone success no matter what type of knit you choose.
This pattern is available in sizes XS through XL.
This is a beginner level sewing pattern.
Suggested fabrics are light to heavy weight knits such as ponte de roma, cotton jersey, cotton lycra, rayon jersey, sweatshirt or hacci.

1 1/2 yards needed for all sizes.
1 yard of each fabric if using contrasting sleeves.
